Description: McNeil is recalling approximately 200,000 bottles of Concentrated MOTRIN® Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor 1/2 fl oz bottles. Tiny plastic particles (approximately 1 mm in size or about the size of a poppy seed) were found in a different product lot during manufacturing. The particles identified are non-toxic; therefore, if you have already given the product to your child, no action is needed. However you should stop using and dispose of any remaining product included in this recall.
Concentrated MOTRIN® Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor 1/2 fl oz bottles (UPC 300450524157) with the following Lot numbers are involved in this recall: DCB3T01, DDB4R01, and DDB4S01.
Have this product?: The FDA is recommending that you immediately stop using the recalled product and contact McNeil's customer service at 877-414-7709 to obtain a refund or a coupon for another product. McNeil is asking retailers to remove the affected lots from store shelves, and is asking consumers to stop using and dispose of any product they may have that is included in this recall.
