Description: Hyland's Teething Tablets are a homeopathic product used to relief the discomforts of teething in young children. Due to the potential risk of belladonna toxicity, all lots of Hyland's Teething Tablets have been recalled.

According to the FDA, "Belladonna is commonly known as Deadly Nightshade. It is a plant whose leaves and berries are extremely toxic. Belladonna has been used as both a poison and a medicine throughout history." The FDA has received reports of children suffering adverse reactions from consuming more than the recommend amount of the product. Signs of toxicity include (but are not limited to): drowsiness, rapid heart rate, increased body temperature, dry skin and dry mouth, skin flushing, constipation, decreased urination, agitation, disorientation, hallucinations, and dilated pupils. No other Hyland's products are involved in this recall.

Have this product?: The FDA is recommending that you immediately stop using this product and discard it or return the product. Report any signs or symptoms of toxicity to your child's healthcare provider.
