| This recall is being issued by: Consumer Products Safety Commission Recalled on: August 29, 2012 Description: Summer Infant recalls over 2 million Baby Bathers due to fall and injury hazard. When the bather is lifted and/or carried with an infant in it, its folding wire frame can suddenly disengage from the side hinge and drop the baby out of the bather. |

Have this product?: The CPSC is recommending that you immediately stop using this product until the repair kit has been obtained and bather has been repaired. The free repair kit includes a locking strap and instructions. Download repair instructions for the 2 strap bather here and the 3 strap bather here.
These Baby Bathes should never be used to lift or carry an infant, even with the locking strap in place.
To receive your free repair kit, contact Summer Infant at (800) 426-8627 or complete this online form. Do not return the Baby Bather to retailers as they will not be able to provide the repair kit.
