Recalled on: February 17, 2011
Description: IKEA recalls about 26,000 SNIGLAR cribs due to entrapment and suffocation hazards. The four bolts that secure the mattress are not long enough and can cause the mattress support to detach and collapse. This recall involves SNIGLAR non-drop-side, full-size cribs (model number 60091931) and sold October 2005 through June 2010.
Have these products?: The CPSC is recommending that you immediately stop using the crib and inspect the bolts. If the bolts do not extend through the nut, contact IKEA at 1-888-966-4532 for a free repair kit. Until the crib can be fixed, find a safe sleep environment for your child.
