| This recall is being issued by: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Recalled on: January 27, 201 Description: Britax recalls more Chaperone Infant Car Seats. The harness adjuster, which ensures that the harness straps can be properly tightened and secured over the infant shoulders, may detach from the car seat shell and cause serious injury in the event of a motor vehicle accident. This is the second recall on Chaperone infant car seats (see the 2010 recall here).

Have this product?: Britax is encouraging owners of Chaperone Infant car Seats to immediately discontinue use of the product if the harness adjuster detaches. Britax will begin shipping
