Description: Britax is recalling more than 17,000 Chaperone infant car seats due to a defective chest clip. The chest clip can break and become a laceration and choking hazard. This recall involves all Britax Chaperone Infant carriers manufactured between April 2009 and May 2010 with the following model numbers:
Have this product?: Contact Britax for a replacement chest clip by calling 1-888-427-4829 or register online. According to Britax, "The Chaperone Infant Car Seat can continue to be used until the replacement chest clip is installed."
