This recall is being issued by: Consumer Products Safety Commission
Recalled on: May 12, 2011
Description: In November 2009, approximately one million Maclaren umbrella strollers were recalled due to amputation and laceration hazards (see the original recall here). Since this recall, more injuries have occurred prompting a reannouncement of the original recall. Additional finger amputations and lacerations have occurred during opening/unfolding as a result of the hinge mechanism of the stroller. All Maclaren umbrella strollers sold prior to November 2009 are included in this recall, including both single and double strollers.
