When to Notify Your Pediatrician after a Vaccination

 Notify your baby's healthcare provider if your baby experiences any of the following symptoms after an immunization:
  • Difficulty breathing (Call 911) or other signs of severe allergic reaction.
  • Fever of 105°F or higher (or as otherwise stated by your pediatrician).

 

  • Presence of seizures.
  • Crying for 3 or more hours.
  • Presence of vomiting and/or diarrhea.
  • Becomes abnormally drowsy, sluggish, or unresponsive.
  • Or anytime you are concerned and feel that your child is acting unusual.
