Description: The First Years is recalling about 41,300 American Red Cross Cabinet Swing latches (item number Y7181). The First Years has received reports of latches breaking, allowing children to gain access to items that may be hazardous. The affected items have a date code that ends with "FUL00" and were sold between September 2008 and September 2010.

Have this product?: The CPSC is recommending to remove the latches from cabinets, record the date code on the back of each latch and contact The First Years at 1-866-725-4407 for a $5 Learning Curves coupon. The coupon can also be obtained by filling out this online form. Be sure to keep hazardous items from cabinet out of child's reach.
